That spirit of collaboration is embodied by the Global Shrimp Council, which started the day with a meeting of its board, followed by an update and outreach session. Miguel Barcenas discussed the progress of The Happy Protein campaign, which continues to gain traction and is beginning to reach significant numbers of US consumers. “It’s like a lightning in a bottle,” said Brandon Phillips, the chair of the session, about the Global Shrimp Council, which also featured impassioned contributions from Thomas Fournier on the power of influencers and digital marketing, from nano-influencers to national advertising campaigns, and the physical embodiment of passion for shrimp through Gabriel “Forrest Gump” Luna's sartorial choices.
Building on the momentum of its successful "Happy Protein Campaign" launch in the U.S. at the SENA Boston Seafood Show this part March, the Global Shrimp Council (GSC) has officially announced the roll out of the campaign into Europe.
We're thrilled to announce that after the launch of the Happy Protein Campaign in Boston, the Global Shrimp Council will also showcase its first campaign at Seafood Expo Global on 6-8 May in Barcelona with awesome on-site ads and the first influencer campaigns!

The three feed companies decided to join the GSC to show their support to the industry. As Associate member they can use the Global shrimp Council logo in all their communication and marketing materials as well as on the packaging of their shrimp feed.
